Sameer Africa Limited, a leading manufacturer and provider of tyres solutions with offices in Nairobi and with operations within the COMESA Region has an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled & resourceful, candidate to fill the above position:-

Main purpose of the job

Developing new products and process specifications while improving existing products and process specifications to meet customer satisfaction

Among others, key accountabilities will include:-

Providing design support for developing and evaluating prototype Products as per specificationsCustomizing tire design specifications into manufacturing specifications and giving technical guidance during limited production phaseTraining production staff on processing specificationsDeveloping critical production control points for products to maintain qualityLeading in solving products quality problemsProviding technical data relating to the product and process during new production equipment acquisition and commissioningIdentifying and implementing product's manufacturing processes improvementsKnowledge, Skills and ExperienceBachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical or its equivalent)Product, process & packaging knowledge expertiseProject management skillsAt least 3 years experience in a similar or comparable roleA team player with excellent communication skills, Attention to detail, problem solving, analytical and interpersonal skillsHigh standards of ethics and valuesInterested candidates should forward applications and detailed CV's to the following Address
