Our client a hardware based in Thika is looking for an accounts assistant.
The holder of the position should have the following qualifications
Minimum qualification of CPA 2 and above with excellent book keeping skillsUnderstanding of Payroll processes from start to finishWorking to tight deadlinesGood communication skills are a must in order to deal with queries at all levels within the businessMust have good experience of QuickBooks3 year experience in accountingMust be honest and of high integrityYoung with an outgoing personalityTo reconcile all revenues collected on daily basis and check balances against receipts.Post accounting data both manually and electronically in the cash journal and maintain a cash balance.Prepare bank account deposits documents and confirmed deposit total.Strong communicator as will be required to work as a team, with Management and also liaise with external partiesHigh attention to detail and the ability to process payrolls to tight deadlinesStrong Microsoft Excel skillsPreparing the marketing budget and sales forecasting reportsGood analytical skillsBalance sheet account reconciliations ensuring balances are current.Preparation of VAT return.Assist in budget preparation and any other accounting/administration job assigned.If you are up to the challenge, posses the necessary qualification and experience, and are interested in working in Thika,please send your CV only indicating why you are the most suitable candidate for the role clearly quoting the job title ( Accounts assistant- Thika ) on the email subject to jobs@corporatestaffing.co.ke.N.B.
