Our Client, an Information Communications Technology firm providing Custom Software Development, Mobile Banking, web solutions, alongside other ICT based services, seeks to fill the position of System Support. The successful candidates will be responsible for providing support to clients using the existing solutions in the market and ensuring that services are continuously running on a 24 hour basis.
Keys Tasks and ResponsibilitiesMonitor systems and ensure they are running appropriately.Carry out system administration.Respond to client’s enquiries.Identify and resolve routine operational systems problems.Manage project, plan and implement systems’ maintenance and administrationInstalling and configuring software onto a number of Environments and various clients. Train clients on the new installed system usageEnsure clients are accurately and appropriately informed about system down times.Ensure all clients complaints about the systems are timely and accurately responded to.Qualifications and CompetenciesDiploma/Degree in computer science/Information Technology or any related courseAt least 2-4 years experience in a similar positionShould have strong working knowledge of Java and PHP programming languagesAble to provide 24 hours on-call services and supports on systems engineeringExperience with financial management software and financial accounting packagesExperience in administering SQL or Oracle Systems support is an added advantageMust have good communication and organizational skills.To apply, send your CV ONLY and cover letter to cvs@flexi-personnel.com before Friday 31st August 2012.
