Our Client , one of Kenya’s Leading private companies in the water industry offering solutions to water problems  through provision of high quality products and services is looking for a procurement officer (Net Salary; 40k-50k)

Job purpose: Reporting to Director, this role will develop and implement sourcing and supplier management strategies to enable the organization meet its objectives.

Main Responsibilities

Advice on appropriate procurement strategies and implement approved plans.Conduct market research to identify pricing, availability and benchmarks.Maintain supplier contacts.Closely monitor and manage supplier cost, service and quality performance.Develop the profile for procurement across all areas of the company.A minimum of a diploma  in Purchasing and supplies.4-5 years’ procurement experience in a busy firm.SAP system Experience a mustMember of recognized professional body for procurement specialists will be an added advantageTeam playerInnovative individual.The suitable candidate should be in a situation to start work immediately.
