Job Summary-Purpose: The position is responsible for driving growth of sales of the business in a sustainable and profitable manner; while ensuring high level of customer service. Duties and Responsibilities: Strategy development and Execution ? Developing and implementing growth strategies for the branchCustomer Relations
? Ensuring standards for quality, customer service and health and safety are met.
? Responding to customer complaints and comments.
? Engaging with the clients on the floor regularly
? Identifies current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand service requirements
In-store Merchandising
? Review visual merchandising of the store on regular basis and make changes according to change in environment and customer feedback.
? Make special arrangements to strategically display certain goods within the store to attract customer.
? Prepare visual merchandising strategy& Plan, reviewing merchandising activities and studying trends.
? Spearhead in-store promotion to boost sales.
? Preparing promotional materials and displays.
Inventory Management:
? Managing stock levels and making key decisions about stock control.
? Setting up control systems for data analysis and forward planning.
? Oversee inventory management
? Ensures availability of merchandise and services by approving contracts; maintaining inventories.
Team management
? Managing and motivating the team to increase sales and ensure efficiency.
? Ensure an effective staff management process in the department is in place and is operational; recruitment, induction/orientation, training, performance management, discipline and growth and development.
? In conjunction with the HR manager, resolving health and safety, legal and security issues
Risk Management
? Secures merchandise by implementing security systems and measures.
? Maintains the stability and reputation of the shop by complying with legal requirements Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Customer Focus, Market Knowledge, Staffing, Results Driven, Strategic Planning, Management Proficiency, Client Relationships, Verbal Communication
