Are you passionate about the hospitality industry, working with people and providing exceptional customer experience?Jacaranda Holdings Ltd is currently recruiting for a Chief Executive (CEO) for the Group. We are a growing chain of hotels with a rich indigenous Kenyan history and place in the tourism sector. JHL manages four properties including the 128-room four-star Jacaranda Hotel in Nairobi, the 100-bed four-star Indian Ocean Beach Resort in Mombasa, the 33-roomed Lake Elementaita Lodge in Naivasha, and the Village Inn in Kiambu. Additional investments within the larger group of companies exist in Molo, Kiambu and a fifth hotel is planned in the Mara.

 Job Objective: To steer the Group in realization its vision and mission as defined by the Board and implement the Company’s transformational strategic plan while maintaining a compliant, ethical and safe business.
 The position of Group CEO is complex and highly demanding and calls for multiple competencies. The successful candidate must demonstrate majority of the skills indicated below through experience in past positions to be attested in a rigorous series of interviews.In addition, the successful candidate is expected to be a strong advocate as the Company’s lead agent, with a keenness for the use of technology to enhance and improve business operations.
Previous experience, at a senior level, with large ICT projects such as ERP, SAP, SUN etc as well as ISO certification processes would be critical and of value.

 University Degree in any field preferably in Business Management, Administration, Finance, Engineering or Hospitality with 15 years experience in Senior Management level in a Commercial Business environment with at least 5 years as CEO and/or Managing Director of a company with substantial turnover per year;High proficiency in basic ICT computing i.e. MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point;International business exposure/experience would be an added advantage; andExperience in ISO implementation is also an added advantageComplete applications should include a detailed CV with name, copies of certificates, email contact, daytime telephone contact, details of current remuneration, and addresses of 3 professional references.
