Our Client, a well established Dry Cargo and logistics company, with over 25 years experience, is urgently looking to hire a Project Manager (Male Only)
The position is on a 2 year Contract.
The tender is for a freight forwarding contract in South Sudan in various places
Remuneration: USD 2,000- USD 2,500 p.m.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following
Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and customers.Negotiate supply contracts/rack deals with refiners and suppliersContinually watch market to predict trends, directions and changes that impact our
businessStay current on state and federal laws concerning fuel taxes.Stay current on changing legislative issues and lead the company's strategic direction Give ALL customers prompt and courteous serviceOther duties may be assigned.Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or related discipline from a recognized university.Must have a VALID DANGEROUS GOODS CERTIFICATION, and must have had it for at least 3 years.Must have a minimum of 8 – 10 years experience in LogisticsExperience in transport, Logistics and shipping companies.Skilled in contract negotiation and managementExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsProficient in cost/benefit and risk analysisAbility to prepare and deliver business presentations to individuals and groupsAbility to translate and communicate organizational objectives to departmental goals and action plans
