Senior Interior Designer Job in Kenya

Dynamic People Consulting is recruiting a Senior Interior Designer for one of its clients, Planning Interiors Ltd (PIL), one of the leading professional interior design firms in East Africa. The Senior Interior Designer will work collaboratively with the Design Director in developing holistic design strategies for clients’ projects.

The Senior Interior Designer will be responsible for the following:

Receiving and evaluating briefs from the Projects Division;Co-conducting periodic site inspections to ensure design concepts translate into actual work;Participating in design, conceptualization and development;Participating in client relationship management;Collating, sourcing, assembling and presenting interior design images, visuals and materials to clients;Ensuring design themes are in keeping with cost and timeframes of the projects;Managing the Design process;Liaising with the projects division to ensure surveys are carried out correctly;Participating in setting out project programs in conjunction with Projects Division;Carrying out research on designs and collating information that is relevant to the project;Proactively seeking knowledge to stay informed of changes in design and stay abreast of industry trends.The successful candidate should have the following qualifications:Bachelor of Arts Interior Design or Bachelor of Arts Graphic Design or Bachelor of Architecture, Master of Arts Interior Design;A minimum of 5 years relevant work experience;Possesses good conceptualization skills and the ability to develop design concepts into viable design solutions;Exhibited strong design flair, with passion for great design;Demonstrated a high level of initiative.Have great interest in creating a pleasant environment for leisure or work;If you believe you qualify for this position, please visit our website www.dpckenya.com and apply under vacancies
