SAP FICO Business Analyst

Job Purpose: Working with both the ICT and Finance teams, the SAP Business Analyst - FICO will be expected to use his/her consulting skills, business knowledge, and SAP solution expertise to effectively integrate SAP technology into Simba Corp’s business environment in order to achieve Simba Corp’s expected business results. He/she shall also provide the first line of support to all the end users of the module.Acts as liaison with Simba IT and Finance team when troubleshooting: investigate, analyze, and solve software problems relating to FICO moduleGeneral functional support to end users on any recurrent finance system problemsContinuously training end users and new staff in the finance departmentPreparation and updating of business process procedures and end user manualsContinuous business process improvement and streamlining business processes by reviewing and enhancing relevant controlsSupport to the technical team when developing and enhancing reports, smart forms and workflowsDesign, configuration and testing of new functionalities and enhancements to the FICO module as per the requirements of the businessTesting for any new functionalities and developments done on other modules that are directly integrated with the FICO moduleRoll out and support activities to the branches and subsidiary companiesAdvice the Finance and ICT teams on any new enhancements and upgrades published by SAPBachelor’s Degree preferably in Accounting or FinanceSAP Certification in the Finance and Controlling (FICO) moduleCPA or ACCA FinalistAt least 5 years working experience in an SAP environmentSolid understanding of fundamental accounting processes i.e. receivables, payables, bank and cash, taxation, general ledger, fixed assets, management accounting and financial reportingMust have at least one full lifecycle SAP R/3 EC6 implementation experience (Project Preparation till Go-Live)Strong understanding of IFRS standardsBusiness knowledge and process design skillsAbility to analyse problems and provide clear recommendationsStrong organizational skillsAble to collaborate with different teams, and have a strong desire to excel.Excellent communication skills, written and verbalGood interpersonal skillsMust be able to work independently as well as a team player and can manage own workloadAble to Multi-task and work under tight deadlinesMust be able to work independently with little to no supervisionMust be an effective problem solverAbility to read and understand ABAP codeHow to Apply
