Position: Sales and Marketing Executive
Location: Nairobi
Reports to: The Director
The Sales and Marketing Executive’s task is to build a market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships.
The job holder must be a strategic and a creative planner who identifies opportunities, acquires and develops new businesses to increase revenue generation for the company.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop, establish and maintain good sales and marketing strategies to meet company objectives.
- Have a sales plan to enable you maximise on sales
- Selling products to identified potential clients
- Acquire new businesses and maintain excellent client relationship with both the existing and new clients while developing an updated database of all the company clients.
- Close new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
- Effective management and coordination of all the marketing, sales, events and promotional activities of the company.
- Prepare brochures, adverts and website content giving details and price of the products.
- Sending out details of new products to people
- Regularly take part in customer feedback and work our ways to garner higher profits.
- Analyse customer research, current market conditions and competitor information in the hospitality industry.
- Screens potential business deals by analysing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending equity investments.
- Take part in sales meetings, monitor, review and report on all marketing activities and results.
- Create marketing presentations that will win the hearts of the clients and the marketing teams.
Qualifications and Skills
- A Diploma or Degree in Sales & Marketing or any other business related course.
- Computer knowledge is a must
- At least 1-2 years progressive experience in sales & marketing preferably in real estate.
- Good presentation, communication and negotiation skills
- Good business sense and budget awareness.
- The confidence to “sell” an idea as well as a creative approach to business.
- Display high degree of emotional maturity
- Ability to manage assigned tasks in a proactive and efficient manner
