Duma Works is recruiting a Parking Software Technician for one of our clients.
The company is one of the leading Parking Management Service providers in East Africa.
Technical Qualifications
- Install, maintain and repair parking machines
- Inspect parking machines on a regular basis to determine if they are operating properly and replaces inoperative heads when necessary
- Maintain an inventory of repair parts, replacement machines heads, and other materials
- Prepares reports and records (such as service records, inventories and maintenance schedules among others)
- Create a backup of the system logs from time to time
- Determine need for and recommends purchase of new equipment, supplies, and parts
- Integrate Parking meters, Counter / Footfall Machines and CCTV cameras
- Train parking attendants in simple troubleshooting of parking systems and hardware
Academic Qualifications
- At least 5 years of work experience and/or on-the-job training in the repair of parking machines or similar mechanical equipment (such as coin-operated vending machines)
- Degree/Diploma in Computer or Software Engineering
- Certification from CISCO Networking
