Our client, an international Restaurant in Nairobi is looking for a Barman Supervisor.
The successful candidate MUST be conversant in Macros and he / she will be required to provide hands on bar supervision, direction, coordination and organization of all bar staff and their work stations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the day to day activities and plan.
- To respond and attend to customer requirements and complaints promptly.
- To ensure consistent high quality service.
- To maintain professional bar image, cleanliness, proper uniforms and appearance standards.
- To respond to complaints, taking any appropriate actions.
- To be fully conversant with bar operation and to efficiently manage the operation of all shifts.
- Preparing of bills for cash and credit payment, moving tables and splitting tables.
- To supervise bar stock levels.
- To ensure that all sales targets are being achieved.
- Preparing duty rota and assigning to bar staff.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Hotel Management / Food and Beverage Catering.
- At-Least 2-3yrs experience in upmarket bar as a barman.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Problem solving and complaint handling skills.
- Planning and organizational Skills.
Monthly gross salary: Ksh. 40,000 /= (Approx. 400 USD) Plus a service charge between 7,000 – 12,000 /=depending on experience
