HR Executive Job Vacancies in Kenya
Reporting to the HR Manager directly and functionally to the CEO, the ideal person will have working relationships with Finance, Operations, Marketing and IT departments, providing HR support to the business and generating reports for the CEO and Board of Directors.
General Responsibilities
The ideal person supports the human resources processes by conducting screening, shortlisting, interviewing, identifying and inducting the right candidate, scheduling for staff meeting & training, conducting performance reviews, maintaining staff records and handling disciplinary issues as and when they arise, and reporting on the same effectively.
Job Duties:
Substantiates applicants’ skills by administering thorough screening, interviewing and referencing process Welcomes new employees to the organization through orientation exercises
Submits employee data reports by assembling, preparing and analyzing data
Maintains employee information by entering and updating employment status- change data
Maintains employee confidence and protects operations by keeping human resource information confidential
Maintains quality service by following organization standards
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing tasks effectively and efficiently at the same time giving desired results
Handle all disciplinary issues professionally in accordance with company policy and employment law
Provide any information required by the CEO in a timely manner

Education Qualification & Competencies:
Diploma in Human Resource Management from a reputable institution
Member of IHRM
Excellent knowledge of Employment law
Thorough understanding of conflict management

At least 2 years’ experience in retail industry – required

Ability to work with minimal supervision
Salary range: 40K-50K gross
