Law Firm Legal Clerk Job in Kenya

Our law firm requires a Legal Clerk in both litigation and conveyancing department.
 

Applicants must meet the following requirements; they include but are not limited to:

• Good grasp of court and arbitration rules and procedures


• Knowledge and experience in conveyancing, commercial law transactions and civil litigation


• Possess excellent interpersonal skills


• Self-motivated


• Able to work with minimal or no supervision at all


• Able to travel on short notice


• Ability to handle pressure


• Must be computer literate


• Paralegal training

Knowledge, Skills and Attitude Required

• Be in possession of a Bachelors of Law Degree (LLB) from a recognized institution


• Computer proficient


• Have a minimum of one year continuous work experience in a busy legal firm dealing in conveyancing, commercial law transactions and civil litigation


• Demonstrate ability to undertake legal research to find authoritative and relevant legal information on diverse areas of law


• Analytical and judgmental skills sufficient to anticipate regulatory and legal risks


• Ability to work with integrity, confidentiality and with minimum supervision
