Position: Grants Acccountant
The Role: The African Academy of Sciences seeks a Grants Accountant for its funding platform, The Alliance for Accelerating Excellence in Science in Africa (AESA).
The incumbent, will under the supervision of the Finance and Administration Manager, provide financial and administrative support to AESA’s programmes, including preparing financial reports, reviewing budgets and reports for grantees and conducting financial reviews for new institutions to receive AAS-AESA support.
Qualifications: A degree in finance, administration or accounting and a qualified chartered accountant (CPA/ACCA), 5 years’ experience working with an international NGO managing complex grant awards and donor liaison, experience in donor report writing and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word / Excel and Powerpoint.
