It has invested more than fifteen years in the development of different products in East Africa.
Development Laboratory Technician
We are seeking applications from qualified candidates to fill the position mentioned above:
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepares chemicals, bench reagents in the laboratory and keeps them safe.
- Performs experiments and analysis assigned in the laboratory using protocols.
- Cleans and maintains lab apparatus and equipment’s.
- Presents analysis reports and observes good laboratory practice.
- Samples raw materials and conducts test experiments in the laboratory.
- New product development including bench scale trials, pilot plant trials and in process testing.
- Ascertaining the accuracy of the testing equipment by calibrating it.
Competency Profile:
- Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related fields.
- Knowledge of using lab equipment’s and apparatus such as analytical balance, moisture analyser, centrifuge, distillatory, rotary evaporator and PH meter;
- Knowledge in safety in applying first aid and fire extinguishing
