AutoCAD Draftsman Career in Kenya (50K)

MWC is a Human Resource Consultancy firm that provides top notch human capital solutions. We are recruiting an AutoCAD Draftsman for one of our clients.  

Salary: 30K – 50K 

The incumbent will specifically be responsible for the following:

• Drawing up timely AutoCAD as assigned. These are prepared with maximum efficiency & professionalism and with minimum tolerance for errors & oversights;


•  Working on clients’ drawings with adherence to the laid down standards and guidelines with the least time possible so as to expedite clients’ works;


• Judging whether projects are workable by assessing materials, costs and time requirements;


• Assessing the environmental impact and risks connected to projects;


• Managing, directing and monitoring progress during each phase of a project;


• Establish priorities and set daily objectives to meet deadlines and address urgent situations as they occur while utilizing the drafting resources with diligence;


• Work in liaison with engineering staff to ensure that the drawings convey the correct information and are error free;


• Occasional site visits when deemed necessary by the Management. Safety guidelines to be observed whenever on site.

The successful Candidate should have the following Qualifications:

• Diploma/ Degree  in either Engineering, Architecture, Design, Mathematics or any other related field


• At least three (3) years relevant work experience in a manufacturing set up


• High level Programming Language  i.e. C++, Visual Basic  and LISP


• Conversant with 2D AND 3D Design Software (AutoCAD Solid works, CATIA)


• Comfortable in usage of presentation and rendering Software (Navisworks, Studio Max )
