We are recruiting an Electrical Engineer for one of our clients.
Salary: 50K – 80K
The incumbent will specifically be responsible for the following:
- Planning, prioritizing, assigning, supervising, reviewing and participating in the work of staff responsible for maintenance of the production plant including repair and installation of UPS, stabilizers, compressors, generators and mechanical equipment;
- Writing project proposal and creating a solid project implementation plan;
- Establishing schedules and methods for providing maintenance and repair services; identifying resource needs; reviewing needs with appropriate management staff; allocating resources accordingly
- Organization, planning and validation of all maintenance activities and tasks
- Ensuring that projects are effectively monitored, checked, documented and correctly verified
- Preparing electrical designs for expansion projects
- Managing all service related projects (i.e. new machine installations, overhauls, retrofits, audits,) from quotation to final acceptance
- Responsibility to achieve project targets, i.e. contract conditions, customer satisfaction, budgetary control, profitability and timelines
The successful Candidate should have the following Qualifications:
- A minimum of two (2) year experience in the manufacturing industry or environment
- Relevant tertiary level training in Electrical Engineering
- Must be flexible and ready to work for long and odd hours
- Must be ready and willing to travel outside Nairobi on short notice
- Possess effective communication, presentation, leadership and relationship building skills;
- Demonstrate ability to implement and deliver short, medium and long-term strategies.
