IT Sales Manager Job in Nairobi




Job Title: IT Sales Manager

Job roles and responsibilities


  • Ensure that sales revenue targets are met as planned and in line with the software solutions per segment.

  • Manage the operations of the company.

  • Develop sales strategies and segment definition for teams.

  • Develop, implement and promote sales and marketing activities to raise awareness of the company’s services and stimulate business demand.

  • Set up process and workflows for the production teams, train and ensure that company policies are adhered to.

  • Ensure that all outputs are invoiced accordingly and invoices sent out as per the company policies.

  • Create new solutions pipeline for prospective customers and ensuring that appropriate services are offered.

  • Proven ability to manage operations and lead teams to achieve company targets and growth. An in-depth understanding of and implementation of company processes and procedures in line with the policies.

  • Excellent knowledge and use of basic accounting software in collating accounts transactions including invoicing.


Education and experience


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or other related industry certifications.

  • Over 7 years of professional Sales experience in an ICT industry.


Skills and Abilities


  • Must be have a network certification (CCNA preferred).

  • A Microsoft certification is desirable.

  • Extensive knowledge of ERP systems is highly required.

  • Should be well versed with the ICT industry.

  • Knowledge of Point of Sale systems is desirable.

  • Proven experience in ICT project management.

  • Proven business acumen and demonstrated ability to build business partnerships.
