This is a busy, fast paced operation which offers many challenges and opportunities for the right person. This position is based at Nairobi, Kenya


Role Outline


Support the standardization of the Performance Management Function across East Africa.  Providing the Countries, Business Units and Sites with accurate, standard and cross functional reports enabling decision making. Provide analysis and overviews of the key performance indicators and financial performance together with identifying improvement opportunities to ensure that Sites are meeting the Budget.

 Key Relationships


Standardization



  1. Support the Performance Management function standardization by identifying non standard activates and support the change to the Regional standard.

  2. Support sites with implementation of new tools to support MRP (Logics, DPM, Power BI);

  3. Act as main contact point with the Regional Performance Management function and ensure feedback is fed from country into the region


Performance Management



  1. Conduct system UATs (Logics, DPM), conduct trainings with site users; support sites with implementing the right reporting hierarchy and ensure hierarchy changes are implemented smoothly (for new business, site moves, etc.)

  2. Coordinate operational KPI’s performance and follow up with sites with consistent failure. Address support when needed to specific discipline and/or cluster owner

  3. Support other disciplines within Ops Ex (Project Delivery, OMS FC, Safety, Quality, Security, etc..) and others e.g. HR, Finance with analysis of cross functional performance and identify continuous improvement opportunities.

  4. Responsible for following up on performance and data issues in Logics regarding any Operational KPIs

  5. Present & interpret DPM/ OPM data and other Dashboards data in a visible and meaningful manner to help analysis and decision support to Senior Management


System management  



  1. Support the innovation agenda and development needs for Performance Management in BI Tools and Logics.

  2. Determine availability and structure of Reports and Dashboards for East Africa region in Logics

  3. Carry out user acceptance testing for new development within the Logics and Power BI systems.


Stakeholders   



  1. Be a reference for the East Africa region with regards to questions concerning PM, LOGICS, data quality, reporting and Power BI Dashboards.

  2. Communicate new processes, reports, system updates across the region and all impacted stakeholders


Requirements


Qualifications



  1. University degree in Business Administration or equivalent

  2. 3 years similar experience / environment


 Skills/Competencies/Experiences



  1. General understanding of Supply Chain operations

  2. Background in Performance Management, Operations or Finance

  3. Experience in data analysis and reporting

  4. Excellent analytical and numerical skills

  5. Excellent planning and organisational skills

  6. High Computer literacy with extensive knowledge of MS Excel

  7. Solid understanding and operating knowledge of all Operational Excellence disciplines

  8. Good Understanding of BI tools and databases

  9. Good interpersonal communication (verbal & written)

  10. Focuses on the detail, is diligent in their approach to work and keeps the big picture in mind.

  11. Knowledge on change management approach


Languages



  1. English – verbal and written.
