Debt Collector at Peoplelink Consultants LTD

Peoplelink Consultants Ltd is a consultancy services company incorporated under the laws of Kenya.Our client, a security company in Nairobi, is looking for a Debt Collector.

Qualifications & skills

• Diploma in business administration


• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in debt collection work including planning, collection and management of debt in a busy firm.


• A clean DL and 1 year experience is an added advantage


• Excellent communications skills


• Capable of connecting with clients and maintaining the business relationship


• Can work with strict targets and performance-based management

Duties and responsibilities

• Keep track of assigned accounts to identify outstanding debts


• Plan course of action to recover outstanding payments


• Locate and contact debtors to inquire of their payment status


• Negotiate payoff deadlines or payment plans


• Handle questions or complaints


• Investigate and resolve discrepancies


• Create trust relationships with debtors, when possible, to avoid future issues


• Update account status and database regularly


• Alert superiors of debtors unwilling or unable to pay when necessary


• Comply with requirements when legal action is unavoidable

Gross salary pay : Ksh 25000 – Ksh 30,000
