Digital Marketing Executive
Mission Statement for the Role:
Support the tele-sales team by driving
qualified leads from social media and other digital marketing channels. Be part
of the mission of bringing internet to every home in Africa.
Overall Responsibility:
Leverage the existing social media channels
(Facebook and Instagram) and a digital strategy to target potential customers
and deliver them as qualified leads to telesales.

Key SMART Results for A-Player Success
- Execute the content calendar
across all social media channels with 50% (3 of 6) posts targeting lead
generation, the other 50% supporting branding and storytelling, with a
target of 10% of all telesales coming from socials- Q3 2023 - Assume responsibility for the
planning and execution of the content calendar, with an increased target
of 20% of telesales leads coming from social media- Q4 2023 - Support the execution of the
digital marketing campaign by the agency, coordinating assets and timely
approvals. Work directly with the agency on analysis and reporting,
ongoing updates to ads as necessary, and updating internal team of
progress daily or as necessary – all under the guidance and direction of
the commercial director- Q2 2023 - Assume responsibility for weekly
monitoring and monthly reporting to Commercial team of performance of all
digital tactics, including insights / learnings and recommendations for
campaign modification and growth – Q3 2023 - Spending at least 3 days per
month in the field with our customers and listening in on telesales calls,
translating visits into key learnings and working with commercial director
to create strategic recommendations and tactics based on the learnings –
Q2 2023

- 2 – 3 years experience managing a
Kenyan brand’s social media channels - At least 2 years experience with
Facebook Ads, Google Ads and Google Analytics - Intermediate level proficiency in
Microsoft Office or Google equivalent - Fluent in English and Kiswahili.
