Our
client is seeking to hire an Accounts & Admin Assistant Intern, who will
play a crucial role in managing financial records, assisting with payroll
processing, and supporting the overall accounting functions.
Key
Responsibilities
·
Maintain and update financial
records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and
expense reports.
·
Assist in the preparation and
analysis of financial statements, balance sheets, and profit and loss
statements.
·
Process and reconcile invoices,
purchase orders, and payments from customers and vendors.
·
Verify and post financial
transactions to appropriate accounts in the accounting system.
·
Prepare and submit accurate and
timely reports on financial status, including cash flow, aging reports, and
monthly/quarterly financial statements.
·
Assist with the preparation and
coordination of audits, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and
regulations.
·
Collaborate with the sales and
marketing teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
activities.
·
Assist in payroll processing,
including maintaining employee records, calculating wages, and preparing
payroll reports.
·
Ensure compliance with tax
regulations and assist in the preparation and submission of tax filings.
·
Provide administrative support to
the finance department, including filing, data entry, and managing
correspondence.
Key
Qualifications
·
Bachelor’s
degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
·
2 years of
proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or
industrial environment.
·
Solid knowledge of accounting
principles, practices, and procedures.
·
Proficiency in using accounting
software and financial management systems.
·
Excellent attention to detail and
accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping.
·
Strong analytical and
problem-solving skills to reconcile financial discrepancies and identify
process improvements.
·
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage
deadlines, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
·
Proficient in using Microsoft
Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting.
·
Strong communication and
interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and
external stakeholders.
·
High level of integrity and
confidentiality when handling sensitive financial information.
