1. Senior Accountant
1 Position
The Holder of this position will be reporting to the Finance Manager
Main Duties
Producing monthly trial balances, bank reconciliation statements and other financial reports in accordance with IAS's and other RegulationsPreparation of timely and accurate management reports on issues that fall under his/her DivisionReview of subsidiary ledgers and reconciliations to general ledgerReview bank reconciliation on weekly basis and ensure all reconciling items are fully explainedAssisting in preparation of final accountsMaintain SACCO Fixed Assets registerMaintenance of creditors' and debtors accounts and records, through strict adherence to the laid down controls and financial regulations of the Society.Academic/Professional Qualifications
Bachelor of Commerce or Business Administration (accounting / finance option) and CPA (K) with 4 years of relevant experience or:CPA (K) or equivalent and diploma in Cooperative Management with 6 years relevant experience.
Thorough Knowledge of financial and accounting software packages and high level of computer literacy.2. Accountant I
2 Positions
Reporting to the Senior Accountant
Main Duties
Maintaining and updating the general Ledger;Updating cashbooks, Petty Cashbooks and preparation of Bank Reconciliation statements;Organizing and taking charge of the Accounts GeneralControlling of all accounting documents including assetsSupervising cash office and cheque writing operationsAuthorization of refunds.Academic/Professional QualificationsBachelor of Commerce or Business Administration (accounting / finance option) and CPA III with 2 years ofrelevant experience or:CPA III and diploma in Cooperative Management with 3 years relevant experience.Thorough Knowledge of financial and accounting software packages and high level of computer literacy.3. Internal Auditor I
1 Position
Reporting to the Internal Audit Manager.
Main Duties
Assisting in preparation of audit programmes and carrying out routine audit within the Society's operations and activities;Recommending systems of internal controls and checks;Implementing the recommendations of the external auditors;Carrying out audit investigations, Undertaking financial, operational and investigative auditsAssist in designing, developing and updating the internal audit manual detailing audit plansAssist in preparing audit reports, queries and observationsFacilitating the periodic review of internal control systems to ensure their adequacy to prevent errors and irregularitiesCarrying out a review of accounting, financial and budgetary systemsAscertaining compliance with established, policies, plans, procedures and processes in the SocietyReviewing and appraising the soundness, adequacy and application of accounting financial and other operating controls and promoting effective controls;Academic/Professional Qualifications
Be in possession of Bachelor in Commerce or Business Administration (accounting / finance option) and CPA III with 2 years of relevant experience in a similar position or;CPA III and diploma in Cooperative Management or Cooperative Audit with 3 years relevant experience.Be in possession of CISA Certification4. Internal Auditor II
1 Position
Reporting to the Internal Auditor I
Main Duties

Be in possession of CISA Certification5. Human Resource and Administration Officer I
(1 Position)
Reporting to the Human Resource and Administration Manager.
Main Duties
In charge of Payroll Section in the organisationAssist in the implementation of the Performance Management System
Oversees maintenance of up to date staff medical accounts, monitors staff entitlement balances, updates staff dependant list on regular basis and capturing/data entry of invoicesAssist in compiling various HR reports for timely reporting and decision makingResponsible for data input in to HR database and validation of the sameSupervising the support staffResponsible for minutes of HR & Administration meetings.Bachelors Degree in Social sciences from a recognized universityPost graduate Diploma in HRThree years relevant experience in a similar position and Computer proficiency6. Procurement Officer I
1 Position
Reporting to the Human Resource and Administration Manager.
Main Duties
Guides end users on procurement and disposal methods and practicesPreparation and management of annual procurement plansMaintain knowledge of all organizational and governmental rules affecting purchases, and provide information about these rules to organization staff members and to vendorsMonitor in-house inventory movement and complete inventory transfer forms for bookkeeping purposesMonitor contractor performance, recommending contract modifications when necessaryPrepare invitation-of-bid forms and mail forms to supplier firms or distribute forms for public posting.Academic/Professional Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Social Science or Procurement /Purchasing and Supplies Management from a reputable University;
Post Graduate Diploma in procurementThree years working experience in a related field and Computer proficiency7. Regional Marketing Assistants
5 Positions
Reporting to the Marketing and Customer Relations officer, these positions will be on one year contract basis and regional based.
Main Duties
Recruitment of new members ;Assisting in marketing the SACCOs products and ServicesManage activities of the regional Sales/marketing and ensuring that the sales/revenue targets are metPreparation of Regional annual business and periodic sales/activity plans;Prepare and submit monthly and periodic reports;Certificate in Sales and Marketing from recognized institutionsTwo years work experience in sales and marketing in a reputable organizationMinimum C- in KCSEComputer ProficiencyThe Sacco is an equal opportunity employer and offers competitive remuneration packages to successful applicants.
