Our client is a young plant growing company which specializes in supplying high-quality plant cuttings to customers throughout Europe, Middle East and Africa. With a total area of twenty seven hectares and a mother-stock of 1.3 million plants and founded over ten years ago, our client is indeed one of the leading companies in the business of bedding and balcony plants.
Key Responsibilities
* Routine electrical maintenance of lighting systems and power supply for electrical machines (welding machines, grinding machines, sharpening machines, office machines, water pump systems and other agricultural machinery).
* Service and maintenance of power generators, tractors, cold storage and other machinery.
* Determination and installation of power requirements for new agricultural projects.
* Safety of all electrical installations and machinery as per regulations.
* Proper metering of power usage according to KPLC standards.
* Supervision of departmental staff.
Educational Qualifications and Experience
* Minimum Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
* At least 2 years experience preferably in a busy agricultural / industrial set-up.
* Hands on experience in electrical installations and repairs of agricultural/industrial machinery, lighting, cold storage equipment, power generators service/repair, electrical fence, motors etc.
* Self motivated and ability to work with minimum supervision.
