Women’s Institute for Secondary Education & Research (WISER) is a Kenyan NGO ounded in 2006 that has established a strong community partnership in Muhuru Bay where the organization has built a private secondary boarding school for girls that it operates in addition to other community programs focusing on education, health, and economic development.

Reporting to Country Director; the job purpose is to drive the NGO vehicle and assist administratively

Duties and Responsibilities

Driving NGO vehicle for all official duties while ensuring timeliness and safetyEnsuring the vehicle assigned is well serviced and maintained as requiredKeeping daily activity records in the vehicle log and ensuring all journeys are accountable to authorized personnelMaking sure all legal documents regarding vehicle are relevant and up-to-dateReporting any accidents/incidents involving the vehicle in custodyPerform miscellaneous administrative tasks such as photocopying, purchasing consumer items, etc.Filing requisition for petrol and other associated costs and submitting receipting for the same.KCSE Certificate holder in possession of a clean and valid driving license B/C/EAt least 3 years continuous driving experience with familiarity in operations and/or administrationMust have good knowledge of and experience driving in Nairobi and its environment and a valid certificate of good conductA courteous, discreet, and punctual individual with experience in driving 4x4 vehicles in rough terrain and willingness to live and work in a rural settingFluency in English and KiswahiliMust have basic clerical and IT skillsContract Details:
