NGO Security Program Accountant and Security Analyst Job Vacancies

The NGO Security Program, Nairobi Office, is recruiting for the following positions:

Finance Assistant/Accountant

Commencement: Immediate
Contract: 1 Year renewable

Purpose of the position:

This position of high dependability will function as the Finance Assistant/Accountant. The Key responsibilities of this position will be to carry out all bank / cash transactions, booking payments, cash book tracking and general administration.

Qualifications:

Completion of Secondary schoolQualifications in accounting i.e. CPA, ACCADegree qualification in accounting, finance or related field is desirable but not mandatory.1 year experience in an accountancy role.1 year of experience in handling NGO Finances (will be considered an added advantage)Security Analyst and Safety Coordinator

Commencement: Immediate
Contract: 1 Year Renewable

Purpose of the position:

The Security Analyst and Safety Coordinator a key person who will be responsible for managing the Field Operation Specialist team.

The purpose of this position is to: provide geopolitical analysis and write high quality security report based on data provided by the Field Operation Specialists team targeting an audience of NGOs; support NGOs during crisis management.

The ability to interact with all parties while maintaining and emphasizing a position of principled political neutrality and operational independence is paramount.

Qualification:

Bachelor in Journalism, Political Sciences, History, Anthropology or any other equivalent diploma3 - 5 years of experience in positions requiring information sourcing, processing, analysis and reporting.Minimum 2 years of Somalia experience.Minimum 2 years experience in security (NGO or government institutions) at a management levelExperience in critical incident management.Application procedure
