Head of Technical Services

Job Summary

Overall responsibility for the smooth running and maintenance of all broadcasting equipment and other related electronic equipment at Hope FM.Ensure that all broadcasting equipment is kept in good working condition and is maintained in excellent condition to support uninterrupted FM broadcasting.Carry out regular checks on broadcasting sites with an objective of preempting avoidable downtimes.Ensure all technical statutory and operational requirements are adhered to per government regulations.Liaise with Service providers and ensure quality service is rendered as per service contracts.Prepare Technical department budgets.Advise management on the purchase of new equipment and replacements of broadcasting and other electronic equipment.Manage the installation of new equipment and software.Ensure technical faults are diagnosed and that appropriate repairs are carried out in a timely manner.Perform any other duties & responsibilities that may be assigned by the management.Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
A Born Again Christian who subscribes to CITAM statement of Faith.Bachelor’s degree Electrical & Electronic Engineering or BSC. Telecommunications or First degree in Math’s or Physics with Diploma in Electronics or Broadcasting.Or Higher National Diploma in electrical and electronics engineering with knowledge in computer hardware and software networking plus 4 years working experience in a busy environment.CCNA, MCSE, CCNP or any other professional certification will be an added advantage.Technically talented, diligent, self-motivated, honest and hard workingA minimum of two years experience in a similar position is essential.Applications should be accompanied by a detailed CV and names of at least three (3) referees (one of which must be your pastor).
