Reports to: Supply Chain Manager

Main Purpose of the Job
End responsible for production planning, MRP planning, warehouse and transportation department.
Manage a team of professionals to solve issues structurally and seek for continuous improvements.

Main Responsibilities
* Responsible for warehousing and transportation departments
* Continuously ensure the efficient and economical utilization of facilities for storing, distributing and delivering material inventories.
* Planning of Inbound transportation – Packaging material, Chemical, CPO, Raw material movement
* Planning of Outbound transportation – Finished goods
* Optimize planning to improve the resource of factories at the same or lower costs
* Continuously improve transportation activities to ensure the efficient and economical utilization of facilities
* Seek for required information to develop effective planning for production planning, MRP and transportation.
* Work closely with Production, Quality, Sales & Marketing, and Purchasing to improve the business process and make sure all concerned parties are well informed of any changes.
* Monitor quality works via all direct reports. Provide constructive coaching and guiding. Lead by example.
* Lead the S&OP process and define actions for structural improvement
* While direct reports positions are vacant, Executive Logistics also must perform subordinates’ tasks till the positions have been filled.
· Effective transportation planning both own and outsourced
· Efficiency of truck utilization and cost
· Design transportation planning which include materials Packaging, FG to Customers, routes (incl. Inter-plants) and number of transportation vehicles by reviewing the locations of Customers, Suppliers, storage location types of products & materials
· Implement the plan, provide guidance and solve issues related to transportation
· Plan and arrange for sufficient transportation vehicles and drivers by analyzing sales volume, exploring options for additional vehicles and drivers.
· Monitor team members to ensure that they perform the tasks appropriately and solve issues related to transportation to ensure that quality products/materials are delivered to desired locations and/or customers by timeline.
· Monitor maintenance and develop proper preventive maintenance plan as well as make sure trucks are well maintained

Knowledge and Experience Required
* Degree in Logistics Management or related field
* At least 5 years of Logistics management, materials management, manufacturing or master planning-scheduling and/or combination of education and experience.
* At least 3 years experience as an Executive Logistics.
* Computer Literacy is a must for this position. Familiarity with ERP system such as Oracle, SAP, QAD will be an added advantage.
* Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment, extremely self-motivated.
* Can cope with stress, pressure & extended working hours if required.
