Position: Marketing Assistant

Location: Nairobi
Our client, a leading supplier in hospitality products including world class cutlery is seeking to recruit a sales and marketing executive. The position calls for a person with exquisite customer relationship skills, keen on detail and dynamic.

Duties and Responsibilities:
* To obtain knowledge on all company products
* E-shots – planning, creating , distributing company products
* Maintaining and updating the mailing list, creating a new list for all clients (Local/Upcountry/Regional)
* Website communication and updating changes as need arises
* Showroom product presentation with codes and prices
* Accurately maintain and update client database
* Conducting market research from websites, magazines and email
* Organizing events – giveaways/gifts/calendars/diaries
* Developing marketing strategies to position ourselves in the market
* Photography of products/events to be publicized
* Planning and executing product promotions

Qualifications and experience:

* A degree in Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing option)
* One year experience as a marketer
* An ICT diploma will be an added advantage
* Flair of meeting people
* Interpersonal skills/Organizational skills
* Team player
* Excellent communication skills
