Working Capital Reporting Job.

Position Title: Working Capital-Reporting
Reporting To Head of Working Capital
Duty Station: Nairobi, Kenya

Job Purpose
To prepare, analyze and present working capital reports in order to provide accurate, timely working capital reports to Management

Main Responsibilities and Duties
Management Reporting (MIS) – Develop reports to assist in forward planning and target setting
Monitor performance against targets and alert management on potential instances of underachievement
Be responsible for quality control assessments for MIS data entry and act as first line trouble-shooter and problem solving for data errors.
Responsible for the production of reports for management analysis
Maintain internal procedures to collect and collate information
Provide information and statistics as required
Assess the requirements of reporting systems and produce reports for internal and external use as necessary; creating any additional reports that may be required and maintaining any existing reports to reflect accurately the data held
Management presentations – Produce working capital presentations as required for the Management Team
Prepare and provide presentations with regular reports on progress towards targets, flagging variations and performing initial checks on reasons for under/over achievement for Working Capital
Preparation of Working Capital Management Reports on the achievement of performance targets against a range on internal and external indicators
Synthesize and analyze data and write summary reports by program based on the Monitoring results
In accordance with requirements, create or maintain procedures for capturing and publishing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
Foreign Exchange Risk Management
Enabling risk management techniques by generating an exposure map
Support foreign exchange risk management framework compliance
Ensure Control and Compliance in all working capital areas
Ensuring compliance with all policies of Working Capital Management
Compliance to Working Capital processes and procedures
Closure of internal audit Working Capital issues-status and compliance
Assist creation of Risk Management Policy document

Education, Skills & Knowledge:
* Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance.
* MBA desired.
* At least 5 years experience in a finance role, exposure to working capital preferable
* Knowledge of reporting methodologies
* Experience in data analysis/manipulation
* IT skills, particularly in the use of spreadsheets (Excel)
* Knowledge and experience of IT systems in a networked environment.

Specialist Skills required:
* Highly Numerate
* Knowledge of treasury software expertise
* Advanced analytical, organization, and interpersonal skills.
* Advanced spreadsheet and modelling skills.
* Excellent collaboration, verbal and written communication skills.
* Attention to detail and accuracy.
* Interested in process improvement.
* Willing to adapt quickly to changes in direction.
* Internally motivated to seek out answers, generate ideas, and develop new skills
