Housing Finance Assistant Manager Compliance Job in Kenya

Housing Finance (HF), Kenya’s largest and leading mortgage company with country wide operations has an exciting opportunity for talented, dynamic, self-driven and result oriented individuals with a commitment to performance excellence.

Reporting to the Assistant General Manager Risk, the Assistant Manager Compliance will be part of a successful team and will be expected to monitor and report on compliance of company operations to existing laws, regulations and internal guidelines so as to minimize compliance risk.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the following key result areas:

To develop and manage a compliance risk management program within the organizationTo create staff awareness on compliance riskTo monitor compliance of company operations to existing laws and regulations so as to identify areas of non-compliance and report as appropriateReview and implement all major regulatory guidelines issued to ensure complianceConduct continuous compliance reviews as necessary for all unitsTo advise various stakeholders on compliance by generating various reportsTo identify gaps in compliance and develop systems to mitigate against identified gapsAssist carrying out the role of the Bank’s Anti Money Laundering processThe ideal candidate should possess:
Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Finance, Banking, Law, Risk Management or a related fieldHave at least 3 years experience in the Banking industryDemonstrate knowledge of financial regulations and Banking practiceHave good analytical skillsHave excellent knowledge and use of MS Office applicationsDemonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skillsHave excellent presentation skillsTo apply, please send your application letter and detailed CV indicating your qualifications and experience to:
