The Aga Khan Academy, Mombasa is an International Baccalaureate World School which seeks to provide students of all backgrounds from primary to higher secondary with an education of the highest standard in order to prepare them for lives characterised by leadership and service.
We invite applications for the position of Teacher of Physical Education at the Academy:
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Deliver a relevant broad, balanced and differentiated curriculum for studentsTeach to a high level of PE across a full age range (Junior and Senior School)Contribute to the teaching of Junior School swim lessonsCommitment to contribute to coaching in the swim programme which will include morning, lunchtime, evening sessions and weekend meetsSupport the educational values of the AcademyA Bachelor’s Degree in Education or equivalentExperience in the International Baccalaureate curriculum or strong enquiry based experienceInterested candidates should send their applications by email only, enclosing detailed curriculum vitae, a personal statement not exceeding one page relevant qualifications and testimonials, and provide names of at least 3 contactable referees with daytime telephone contacts before closing date of 28 November 2011 to:
