Improvements will be in the form of standardization, simplification, implementation of controls, automation, lean processing, optimization, and consolidation of functions where needed. The FS analyst will work together with the FS Project Leader to map out the landscape, identify opportunities for improvement that render maximum shared benefit to the SSA teams and customers.- Collaborate with customers (internal Global Operations teams, and business) to identify process needs, process gaps, inefficiencies, defects and simplification opportunities - Execute the implementation of process improvements, co-ordinating various stakeholders, tracking progress, and ensuring timely delivery - Monitor, and measure the quality, optimization of services delivered by tracking key metrics across the Global Operations financial services platform – Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury, Tax & Financial Reporting - Maintain up-to-date process flows, process documentation for various GBS FS processes. Ensure alignment with Global Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), manage version control on documentation. - Assist Project Leader on ad-hoc projects as instructed- Bachelors’ Degree – Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics - Minimum – 4 years’ work experience, ideally in Multinational Organization - Exposure to project management, business transformation, business process re-engineering and change management. Familiar with Finance functions, broadly - Purchasing, Payments and Cash Management - Demonstrated success in the delivery of projects involving process roll-out, or re-engineering. - Experience in entire project lifecycle – scoping, resource planning, execution/monitoring and post-implementation review. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work effectively with customers at all levels of the organization Initiative, “go-getter” attitude, critical thinker – ability to work independently, as well as team with others to deliver as requiredAdditional Eligibility Qualifications: - Previous GE experience or familiarity with GE policies, procedures, practices & programs - Multi-Lingual – French, Spanish or Portuguese (in addition to English) - Certified Accountant – CPA, ACCA
