Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Economics from a recognized UniversityA qualified accountant (CPA-K / ACCA)A Masters in Finance or related field preferred will be an added advantageA minimum of 3 years experience in the management of financial systems and budgets, financial reporting, financial data analysis, auditing, taxation and providing financial advice.The Senior Financial Accountant will be responsible for collecting and analyzing financial information for the business.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Compile and analyze financial information to prepare financial statements including monthly and annual accountsEnsure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and proceduresEnsure all financial reporting deadlines are metPrepare financial management reports and present before the boardEnsure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and annual reportsResolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities & maintain control proceduresContinuous management and support of budget and forecast activitiesMonitor and support taxation issues & ensure compliance with regulatory bodiesDevelop and maintain financial data basesFinancial audit preparation and coordinate the audit processAnalyze and advise on business operations including revenue and expenditure trends, financial commitments and future revenuesAttention to detail and accuracyPlanning and organizing Strong communication skillsInformation and task monitoring Problem analysis Judgment and problem-solving Supervisory /Leadership skillsStress toleranceApplication deadline 5pm on Tuesday 24th July, 2012.
