Organization and realization of reinsurance projects
Support individual departments with all Reinsurance-related issuesReview and recommend for approval Reinsurance contract wordingsUse the system to resolve all treaty coding issuesEnsure that the Company deals with reputable reinsurance companies at all timesTimely processing of statutory returnsProcessing and negotiating competitive treaty renewal termsPlacement of facultative business. Both inward and outwardPreparing reinsurance reports for managementEnsuring timely processing of recoveriesEnsuring that the Company’s reinsurance programs are adequate & cost effectiveProcessing of branch credit notes and refundsProcessing of Insurance Premium Finance applicationsMinimum Educational (or other qualifications) requiredUniversity Degree in related filed (insurance, risk)Professional Accounting qualification i.e. CPA-K/ ACCA/ACIIAt least 7-8 years experience in reinsurance;She/he must be familiar with Re-insurance accountingIT proficiency- Computerized accounting system skills e.g., Orion, AIMS, Premium.Exposure to and understanding of various classes of insurance business in international insurance and reinsurance markets.Thorough knowledge of reinsurance techniques and practicesOrganization & Planning SkillsCommunication SkillsAnalytical/Research SkillsTime management skillsProblem SolvingTeam Building SkillsInterpersonal AbilitiesMulticultural SensitivityProblem-SolvingTo apply for this position send your CV to mycv@myjobseye.com quoting the position in the subject line and preferred location.
