Summary:
Reporting to the head of operations, the warehouse and logistics supervisor will need to ensure the efficient running and management of factory supplies and finished stock as well as plan logistics in consultation with the operations manager.
Job duties
Materials and stock management.Monitor slow moving and dead stocks and strategize depletion with approval.Regulate procurement process.Lead and organize regular scheduled perpetual stock take and report findings to senior management.MIS reports and records to be generated and maintained on a daily, weekly and monthly basis for stock controls and to plan re-ordering.Planning and monitoring the storage, delivery and dispatch of orders - monitor and inspect products before, during and after preloading processPersonnel management and assigning duties to staffMaintain physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.Technical & Personal SpecificationsBachelors in Supply Chain Management or Logistics;Minimum of 3 years experience; andProven analytical and warehouse management skillsKnowledge of factory operations i.e. material management, repairs & maintenance, quality control, supplies & inventoryDemonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, identify and address problems and meet deadlines.Experience in ERP an added advantage.Expert communication & planning skillsAbility to lead and coordinate a teamIf you are up to the challenge, please send an updated CV and a cover letter telling us why we should consider you for this position to the attention of Recruitment – info@flamingotiles.co.ke, no later than 25 March 2013Kindly indicated your current and expected remuneration.
