Reporting directly to the Regional Business Services Manager and indirectly to the Governance Board, the Shared Services Center Manager will provide leadership of the centre, driving process improvements and operational efficiencies, measuring and reporting on service delivery standards in the areas of finance, procurement, Human Resource and office administration. The Shared Services Center Manager will also be tasked with the management of the Shared Services Centre budget.
The Shared Services Centre is a new internal service provider for transactional services to all the Nairobi based Oxfam business units. The role will act as an escalation point for unresolved queries and complaints as well as promoting and instilling effective partnership working with internal stakeholders.
To be successful in the role, you will have an MBA and hold professional qualification in either Finance, Logistics & Administration, Human Resources or IT and previous experience of establishing and leading an effective Shared Services Centre or equivalent in a large, complex and dynamic organisation.
You have managed teams in Finance, Logistics & Administration, Human resources and IT and have a track record of achieving excellence through leading and guiding multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams and influencing stakeholders.Your verbal and written communications skills are excellent so is your negotiations and influencing
skills.
