The Workshop Officer will be one of the founding members of our company’s new team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to enter an operations role with supervisory responsibilities. The Workshop Officer will supervise a driver and machine assistant.
The person in this role will be responsible for overseeing all of our workshop operations, including basic manufacturing, inventory management, client order fulfillment and office administration.
Goals and Responsibilities
Ensure Smooth Workshop Operations Supervise light manufacturing within the workshopSupervise loading and unloading of goodsAssist with general office administrationFulfill Client Orders Quickly, Efficiently and Correctly Receive orders from the sales teamTrack orders from the time they are placed to the time they are delivered to the clientVerify client payments and ensure orders are filled accurately and quicklyAccurately Manage and Account For All Company Inventory Keep regular stock of all workshop inventoryEnsure all goods are released and accounted for against paymentsQualifications, Experience and SkillsAt least 2 years’ experience in a role with operations or administrative responsibilitiesStrong organizational and recordkeeping skillsProficient with Microsoft Word and ExcelStrong supervisory skills and ability to relate well with direct reportsStrong professional referencesEager to join a young, quickly-growing organization and teamTo ApplyPlease follow the application instructions below carefully.
