An international company is looking for a specialist in Strategy and Marketing with significant experience in the field of information technology and communication, for its office in Nairobi.
Your Mission: The mission consists of coordinating a research project on the daily monitoring and analysis of the news in the ICT sector in 12 African countries. The mission requires the following skills and abilities:To understand and master internet and computing;To have a strong understanding of the current economic, social and regulatory trends in the ICT sector in Africa;To have a good general knowledge, especially on Africa, and have the ability to identify and address any potential problems on time;To be able to develop relevant contacts that might be interested in the product;To be the key person for advice following research on the targeted area;To be able to make proposals based on the identified situation;To be able to manage a team, draw the best from it, and identify collaborators in order to collect all the necessary information;To be team oriented, share knowledge and engage in order to be able to cope with any challenge together;To be able to plan and manage project activities according to the deadline of the deliverables;To develop a network of experts that could provide technical and analytical information as needed;To be able to measure the impact of publications and contact experts to get their opinions on specific ICT issues in Africa;To be able to produce periodic reports of high quality based on the results of the research conducted by the team.Be versatile and a be a good listener;Have strong interpersonal relationship skills;Be curious and detail oriented;Have a good writing style;Be pragmatic;Fluency in English and experience in a multicultural environment would be greatly appreciatedYour Profile: A graduate in strategy, marketing and / or communication of a renowned school or university, with a professional experience of at least 5 years in the field.
