Orange Telkom Senior Business Solution Developer Job in Kenya




Position: Senior Business Solution Developer
 



Reporting to: Head Partner & Channel
 



Range: R2L
 



Department: Business Market

Role Purpose:  Strategic Sales Professional within broad business/product area responsible for generating orders and revenue by persuading customer to buy. 




Manages customer relationship for key accounts. Jobs eligible for Orange sales incentive compensation plans. 



Have to meet all of the following elements:


  1. Sales person (individual/manager) with accountability and responsibility for one or more of the following: customer orders, revenue, sell-out, sell-through

  2. Sales person (individual/manager) with responsibility for persuading a customer to buy.

  3. Primary focus of the role on the persuasion phase of the sales process (sell and/or sell-out).

  4. Requires consistent customer focus and

  5. Quantitative measures of success are defined and available.


Key Duties and Responsibilities.


  • Must be sales focused & aggressive in order to meet and exceed sales targets month on month by selling through Business solutions  & enterprise partners, develop and manage  relationships within targeted indirect customers.

  • Develop multi-level and multi-functional relationships (CEO, CFO, CIO and Business Unit Leaders) to drive solutions that are innovative and provide value / benefit relative to the customer’s respective business needs; deepen and widen relationships with a longer term focus with the business solution partners.

  • Understanding Partner’s deployment plans and identifying strategic plans for success of the customer and profitability of Telkom Kenya. Understand the customers business and IT strategy; map these requirements to industry trends, as well as with existing customer requirements where Orange solutions provide value for the partner to the customer.

  • Responsible for overall partner management, partner development, relationship and sales development. Working with the expanded team provide overall account strategy and direction; program risk, assessing situations, making recommendations, and implementing planned contingencies to partners, when necessary .

  • Liaise with all internal resources to make sure that all partner processes are met on time i.e. payments, account plans, sales management tools are in use on a weekly basis, growth, partner organizational charts, and related documentation at both the executive summary level and line management detail level are kept current. Providing critical communication links to the customer, business units, necessary functional organizations, executive and senior managers.

  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of reporting in: Sales pipeline management & opportunity management and all regular and ad hoc sales reports analysis & weekly sales update for each Business solution Partner.

  • Provide overall management of segmented market that the Business solution partner will be mandated to address, information relative to the Business partner including legal, product pricing, commercial management relative to contract agreements, price books, pricing tools, one-off deal specific bids, etc. and ensure that the customer and Business Partner contract is kept up-to-date.


Academic / Professional Qualifications


  • Degree in Business/Marketing, or other relevant field (or equivalent).

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in sales environment


Key Competencies:


  • Experience in selling integrated communication solutions.

  • Accurately forecast new sales and revenue projections at a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis within the indirect

  • Respond in a timely and accurate manor to all new and disconnect orders being placed

  • Meet 100% targets every month.
