Our client is a communications consultancy offering corporate communication, stakeholder relationship management, media relations & coaching, crisis communication services besides addressing other communication challenges faced by varied organizations. They seek to hire a dynamic and results oriented Account Manager.

Account Manager Role Summary

The Account Manager will be a critical liaison between the company and its clients to ensure needs and goals are successfully met on every project. The successful candidate will also ensure they secure repeat and new business through interactions.

Key Responsibilities

Successfully generate new and grow existing business for the company

Ensure quality standards are met on delivering on the clients’ projects

Meet set revenue targets

Work with clients to clearly understand business needs and provide optimum and creatively thought through solutions

Successfully pitch for new business

Manage and provide support in maintaining accounts of strategic clients

Respond to client questions and ensure problems are timely resolved

Relationship management of existing and potential clients

Prepare and present report on market analysis, competitor analysis and market trends

Mentor and coach/support accounts team
Skills and Qualifications Desired for Account Manager PR Jobs in Kenya

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing/ Communication or business related

A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar field preferably in the same industry

Proficient knowledge in Microsoft

A clear understanding of the market trends

Customer service and relationship management skills

A clear understanding of marketing and brand communications

Strong leadership skills

Excellent project management skills
