Athena Properties Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Centum is looking to filling the position of Land Surveyor.

Job Purpose

This position reports to the Director of Project Delivery. The primary role for the Land Surveyor will be to measure and collect data on specific areas of the land. The incumbent will be expected to work with the delivery team on project execution in providing topographical surveys for new developments and in setting out plot boundaries.
Land Surveyor Job Responsibilities

Providing Topographical and Cadastral surveys for new development land, including the provision of three dimensional survey models and site plans.

Providing survey reports to the Project Manager.

Providing setting out of plot boundaries for sales team.

Attending joint surveys with the Contractors for approval of setting out.

Attendance at project construction meetings upon request from the Project Manager.

Surveys of construction works, assisting Project Manager and Resident Engineers where required.

Providing regular project reports to the Project Manager.
Qualifications For Land Surveyor Jobs In Kenya

Educational Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Surveying or equivalent.

Registration with surveyor with Institute of Surveyors of Kenya

Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Land Surveyor Good understanding of Kenyan regulations and legislation around the real estate sector.

Experience

Good working knowledge of AutoCAD

Ability to use automatic Levels, Total Stations and GSP survey equipment is essential.

Effective communicator with the ability to articulate issues to a diverse audience both in person and print

Demonstrated capacity to execute on multiple projects simultaneously.

Ability to grow with the organization fostered by entrepreneurial drive.
