Location: Nairobi, Kenya
Job Summary: As the Operations Manager, you will ensure that outstanding member satisfaction and retention is achieved, you will also ensure that the general maintenance of the premises, swimming pool and exercise equipment is of world-class standard for our members.
Primary Responsibilities:
Managing clear internal & external communications throughout the club
Ensure outstanding member service is constantly delivered in the club
Managing, implementing and monitoring brand standards
Managing supplier relationships
Managing of relevant budget expense control and assisting with capex
Driving member and staff satisfaction initiatives
Maintaining quality facilities and equipment
People management which includes, recruitment, performance management, and team development
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum diploma qualification essential
1-2 years proven experience within an operations or similar environment
A solid understanding of basic preventative maintenance
Previous team management experience
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Must be solutions oriented and have an overwhelming desire to attend to our members
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work shifts which includes weekends and public holidays
Must be computer literate with MS Office programmes
Experience in working with carious elements of the Occupational Health and Safety
