Job Purpose
Creating and retaining customer loyalty and preference by establishing rapport with the customer, planning and developing customer-focused programs, overseeing the resolution of customer concerns and facilitating the delivery of services to the customer.
Sales Job Duties and Responsibilities
Generate sales and follow-up to ensure that customers are satisfied
Handle all fixed data customer relations issues
Development and implementation of marketing plans
Proven leadership and ability to drive sales.
Prepares and develop plans for search of sales leads and prospects.
The job holder should work with the internal team, marketing staff, and other managers to increase sales opportunities and thereby maximize revenue for the organization.
Management of the existing clients and ensure they stay satisfied and positive
Prospect for new clients by networking from potential clients.
Cold call as appropriate within the market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging the network
Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization.
Research and build relationships with new clients.
Work with team to develop proposals that speaks to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.
Present an image that mirrors that of the client.
Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business.
Handle any client’s objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion.
Use a variety of styles to persuade or negotiate appropriately.
Client Retention
Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships.
Work with technical staff and other colleagues to meet customer needs.
Arrange and participate in internal and external client debriefs.
Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.

Minimum Qualifications for Sales Jobs in Kenya
Over 2 Years experience in Sales and Marketing
Diploma in Sales and Marketing
The capacity to flourish in a competitive environment
Good analysis of the market a smart understanding of Network/Internet systems
