Exciting Marketing Manager Vacancy in a large ICT & Business Training Institution




Exciting Role in IAT




The Institute of Advanced Technology (IAT) is the largest ICT & Business Training Institution in East, West and Central Africa with eight Kenyan branches and a total employee base of 280+ employees. 



We are looking for a Dynamic Marketing Manager.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this person will head the Marketing Department. 




This role would comprise growing IAT’s brand, market and mind share in respective geographies through identification of potential areas of growth for IAT’s present and potential business, reviewing and analyzing its market and crafting practical marketing activities while staying within the marketing budget.


 


The candidate should:


  • Be creative, independent, decisive and dynamic with good networking skills and the ability to think “OUTSIDE THE BOX” and work under pressure with minimum supervision.

  • Have a successful track record in a marketing role preferably in a growing retail organization with a good and extensive PR network.

  • Plan, implement, observe and innovate all the marketing, advertising and promotional activities with a keen eye on Return on Investments.

  • Undertake and evaluate product, market and competitor research and analysis, utilizing the data to craft effective and efficient marketing plans.

  • Direct, coordinate and manage the Marketing Department to grow market share, sales and profitability in line with the organization’s objectives.

  • Identify potential areas of business growth and new business development opportunities.

  • Be a degree holder in Marketing with proven expertise in Online /Social Media advertising.

  • Added qualification in social media marketing, web and graphic designing will be added advantage.

  • Be an entrepreneurial thinker who can take informed business like decisions, show initiative and leadership in management and have excellent administrative skills.

  • Having a proven track record in a similar role will be of added advantage.

  • Being in your 30’s with strong interpersonal and written skills will be advantageous.
