Our client in the hospitality industry both locally and internationally is looking to hire the following qualified candidates.
Demi chefs.
Requirements For Demi Chefs Jobs In Kenya
Diploma or degree in food production from recognized institution.
Ages 27-35.
Minimum 2 years’ experience working for a five star hotel in the similar position.
Must have passports in order to undergo serious regular international training, refresher courses, and exchange programs
Both males and females in these positions are encouraged to apply.
Five star hotel experience is a must.
Must have certificate of good conduct/police clearance recent certificate
Must be free from any criminal record.
Demi Chefs Job Responsibilities In Kenya
To monitor stock movement and be responsible for ordering on your section
To ensure minimum kitchen wastage.
To ensure knowledge of the product is maintained an d communicated to all relevant personnel.
To be responsible for completing your mis en place
To learn and record skills and recipes from other members of the department
To report any maintenance issues to the Head Chef i immediately.
To comply with all Good wood policies and procedures to ensure that all statutory regulations are observed
To liaise with the Head Chef/Sous Chef and implement new menu/dishes/systems where applicable
To ensure all statutory regulations are adhered to, such as food hygiene policies
To be flexible and willing to help the hotel kitchen at busy times.
Knowledgeable about basic hygiene and HACCP.
