Job Description

The International Centre for Reproductive Health (ICRH), based in Mombasa, is a local NGO involved in reproductive health research and program implementation.

ICRH will be implementing studies to develop, test and evaluate appropriate mHealth interventions aimed at addressing family planning and contraception issues among Female Sex Workers (FSW) in Mombasa.

We invite applications for the following position;

Community Mobilizers / Note Takers

4 Positions

 

Requirements:

Social Science / Community Development / Media / Communication Studies or any other relevant training at Diploma, Certificate or Degree level

2 Years’ experience working with and/or a member of the target community

Good communication and Inter-personal skills

Fluent in English and Swahili

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and over long hours including weekends

Excellent writing skills

Job Description:

Mobilizing FSW community members for FGDs and Interviews

Organizing for suitable venues in collaboration with the research team

Note taking during FGDs and interviews

Compiling brief reports after FGDs and Interviews

Performing any other duty assigned by the research team
