Job Description

Our client, a well established Manufacturing Company based in Mombasa is looking for a Production Manager.

He/she will be responsible for all manufacturing, purchasing and distribution operations as well as manufacturing support functions, engineering, planning and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for day-to-day production within the factory.

Supervises, motivates, and supports the staff daily and applying a team approach.

Plans, schedules, strategizes, and oversees all production activities.

Performs essential functions to ensure overall customer satisfaction and quality service.

Establishes and maintains effective communication with employees and clients.

Responsible for the effective and efficient planning and scheduling of personnel and equipment.

Meeting the department production and quality goals.

Meeting the companywide profitability and customer satisfaction goals.

Comply with all occupational health & safety requirements.

Take all necessary actions to manage production costs and improve profitability.

Qualification

Must have a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.

Must have 3 years supervisory experience.

Must have over 5 years of experience in a high production environment.

Excellent analytical and strong leadership skills.

Excellent interpersonal skills.

Monthly gross salary: Ksh. 180,000 –  300,000/= (Approx. 1,800 – 3,000 USD) Plus accommodation and car allowance
