Our client, a Real Estate developer is looking Site Engineer
Key Responsibilities
Experience in the construction or civil engineering industries at craft or technician level.
Possess excellent knowledge of both the construction process, architecture world and familiar with most construction materials
Watch over the site and ensure that everything is done in accordance with the design and conforms to relevant construction standards. Must know what to expect and able to notice faults.
Performing regular inspection of the work on site and comparing completed work with drawings and specifications
Measuring and sampling building material to check their quality
Identifying defects and suggesting building ways to correct them
Liaising with other construction staff, such as contractors, engineers an d surveyors
Monitoring and reporting progress to construction Managers, Architects and Clients
Requirements / Qualifications
Bachelor of science in Civil Engineering / diploma
Experience 4-7 years.
Desired Qualities / Skills
Ability to pay attention to detail
An in depth knowledge of the construction industry
Sound knowledge of Building regulations
Good organizational and project management skills
Good problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and negation skills
Good written and oral communication skills
The ability to liaise with staff at all levels
A good level of fitness and head for heights
Ability to meet targets
